Deep Thoughts

This is my entry for a local art exhibit and competition. Only employees and volunteers and immediate family of employees of the hospital that's hosting can participate. And who's the daughter of one of the medical practicioners? Moi! Therefore I can participate. I wanted to do something that utilized the things that I've learned and mediums that I enjoy working in. Also, I wanted to use just my skills versus relying on other things that aren't wholly "me". This is my first public showing of my drawn work (I've been in public fashion shows before, this is different ), so I hope it goes well. Plus, there's prizes. $300 for 1st, $200 for 2nd, and $100 for third. There's $300 for best in show as well. Honorable mention ribbons will be awarded as well. I've selected the Adult intermediate artist as my category.

I couldn't risk putting this in the scanner, so I tried to take a photograph and edit it. It still doesn't look sharp, but it's good enough I guess.
