Description

Alright, here is the fan art/practice portrait I've been working on over the past few days. Scratch another off the list.

This is Eddie Shin, he used to be a solo K-pop artist (if I have my facts straight because I used to love his song "Over") and some how unbeknown to me joined up with Aziatix as their main vocal, an American band. I highly recommend you listen to at least one of their songs*coughslippin'awaycough*; they're amazing. :iconadorableplz: Plus Eddie is just nice to look at, I was extremely happy to be drawing this picture. If you don't know, I love guys with long hair, and if they're thin I love them even more. :happybounce:

Anyways, I cheated with GIMP because I did not get it that dark, unfortunately, I have yet to get a really dark graphite pencil. I don't want want to use charcoal to darken it because it's just too messy. Cheated on some other things too, but I'll let you figure that out. :P

Now, to go and complete my commission!

Enjoy! Feel free to critique, though I know the hair, and arm are really messed up.

I love the way you did this piece. First off, the lighting looks great. It's dark, yet visible and adds loads of power and depth to the piece.
I also really love the detail all around. This includes how well you followed proportions. The hair shines, the hand's fingers, the lips, the highights, and the shadows. All polished and clean looking as well.
The blending on this piece is really nice as well, It's got lovely transitions, and smooth lines where it needs to be.

I also love the expression on her face. it holds emotion and you captured it perfectly.

Well done! I really like the effort put into this piece, and it turned out beautifully!
