In the Beholder's Mirror :Contest Entry:
Some panes go away, but these reflective ones seem to stay.
When used as a measure of every imperfection
We become afraid of this perfect reflection.
These reflections of the outside--something in which we had no say,
Yet broken glass can't show the inside--
Not through the cracks or the clarity.
Still there are some eyes that look with charity:
Friends, who look, give and abide beside.
A look in his eyes is like looking into a mirror darkly.
A murky reflection that works in reverse
Showing the inward parts and ignoring the curse.
