Hello, all!
I'm slowly coming back to life. It's literally been three years since my last journal entry--wow. I've been through a lot since then, not all good, but not all bad. It's getting better now.
I've recently resigned from my position at work. There were so many changes and other things going on. I was tired and depressed. I'm taking time now to try to rediscover what makes me "Carmen". I really shouldn't have let it eat me up. But I'm here now, they tried to take the best of me but I won't let them have the rest of me! :shakefist: Paraphrasing on of my fave rappers NAK there.

Just thought I'd let y'all know I'm alive. I'm working, trying to make art and working, and working. I'll hopefully be posting after Inktober. I'm drawing a big sketch page for Danielle so that'll probably be the next piece of art you'll see from me.
My groups are being negleted still, but busy season is over and I MIGHT be receiving a chance for unpaid leave when we go to slow season.

Well, I'm finally writing a journal. I just wanted to say that even though I love my job, still finding time for my other loves is difficult. There's not enough hours in the day. ~otlplz (https://www.deviantart.com/otlplz)
As a result of this I'll be closing commissions on both of my accounts. Not that I get a ton anyways, but I just don't want to take a month to finish artwork for people, and focus my time on my novel and building my skills in general for said novel. Also taking care of the groups I have here which I have been hopelessly neglecting. v.v I've gotten really behind with art and groups here. I'
